Government rate ledger

Government Savings Rate History India

Track Government of India small-savings rates by notified quarter and Floating Rate Savings Bond coupons by half-year, with source periods kept separate from bank servicing channels.

Government-notified history

The rate belongs to the scheme and notification period—not to the servicing bank.

SCSS, PPF, Sukanya and KVP are tracked by Government-notified quarter. FRSB stays separate because its coupon resets every six months using the prevailing NSC rate plus 35 basis points.

Quarterly history

Preserved Government-notified small-savings quarters.

A flat history is still useful evidence: it confirms that the rate was formally continued rather than silently assumed.

FRSB half-year resets

A six-month bond reset should not be forced into a quarterly table.

Each record keeps the NSC input, 35-basis-point spread and resulting coupon.

Servicing-bank matrix

One canonical scheme, multiple verified access routes.

We count a bank/channel only when a current first-party page, form or digital-service document supports it. A service route never changes the Government-set economics.
